The word Surgentia means "rising", and that’s exactly how our journey began. It all started with two individuals working in the same industry. Manel had his own marketing agency, while Guilherme was working as an appointment setter and cold caller at another agency. We crossed paths in 2021 and quickly realized we had complementary skills. Manel had the knowledge and expertise to build and scale a business, create trust, and sell high-value services. On the other hand, Guilherme had a sharp talent for client acquisition, excelling at outreach and ensuring fast, efficient execution with on-time delivery. Recognizing this synergy, we decided to join forces and launch a business together. Manel took the role of CEO, leading the company and setting the strategic direction, while Guilherme became the operational powerhouse, ensuring everything happened smoothly. After securing our first clients and delivering outstanding results, the next step was team expansion. Since we operated fully remotely, hiring was a challenge, but Guilherme’s recruitment expertise and Manel’s communication and leadership skills allowed us to onboard our first media buyers as independent contractors. With our foundation set, we brought in our first cold callers and client acquisition managers. Guilherme took charge of sales training, ensuring our team mastered high-converting strategies, while Manel focused on client success, making sure every project delivered real impact. Today, we stand as a well-established company with a team of 10+ professionals, continuously pushing boundaries in the digital marketing space. This is just the beginning—Surgentia is rising.
